Disclaimer

The short version: this is a joke app. Nothing here is real, nothing is ever delivered, and that's on purpose. Here's the plain-language rundown anyway, so nobody's confused.

It's satire, not a real food-ordering app

BhookFlix is a parody / novelty "dopamine ritual" app built around a single joke: it gives you the full ritual of ordering food — browsing, cart, checkout, a rider on a map — and then, deliberately, nothing ever arrives. It is not, and has never claimed to be, a real food-ordering or delivery service. If you came here expecting actual food, we're sorry, that was never on the menu.

No real orders, no real money, no real delivery

Every "order" is fake. No real payment is processed (the checkout card details are Monopoly-money placeholders), no real money changes hands, no restaurant is actually notified, and nothing is ever actually cooked or delivered. The "Place Order" button, the fake checkout, the tracking screen, the rider that never arrives — all of it is theater, by design. That's the entire product.

Not affiliated with any real restaurant or delivery platform

BhookFlix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real restaurant, delivery platform, or food brand. Every restaurant name in the catalog — all 36 of them, across all 16 countries — is original and fictional, invented specifically so nothing here implies a real business. Any resemblance to an actual restaurant name is coincidental.

Recipes are for reference, not advice

Every dish comes with a real, simple recipe for people who are actually hungry. These are for home cooking reference only — they don't carry any claim of nutritional, dietary, or medical accuracy. As already noted elsewhere in the app: this is a lighthearted wellness/mood ritual, not medical or psychological advice. If food cravings, spending, or eating patterns are something you're genuinely struggling with, please talk to an actual professional.

What data this app actually touches

There are no user accounts and no real personal data collected beyond what's already disclosed elsewhere in the app: on-device geolocation (if you allow it) is used only to draw the rider's route on a map, entirely in your own browser — it's never sent anywhere. Your country is guessed once from your IP address (via ipapi.co) purely to pick a default menu, and you can switch it manually anytime. Everything else — your cart, streak, and BhookCoins — lives only in your browser's local storage.

As-is, no warranty

BhookFlix is provided "as is," for entertainment purposes only, with no warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or available forever. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any damages arising from using (or trying to use, or being disappointed by) an app whose entire premise is that nothing ever arrives.

Questions about any of this? The same honest, casual tone runs through the rest of the app — start with Why This Exists if you haven't already.
